Danpaati River Lodge harbors 12 double cabins, 1 (one) ‘Special Occasions’ cabin and 1 (one) ‘Multi cabin’ which offers some more space.
Each cabin has 2 (two) single beds which can be joined to function as one double bed. The ‘Special Occasions’ cabin is the only cabin with a queen-size bed. Basic in every cabin are the private bathroom and toilet, electricity, a balcony with beautiful outlook, comfortable furniture on the balcony and nets to keep out mosquitoes .
There are seven double cabins with 2 (two) single beds in each one of them at the river side, equipped with mosquito nets. There is electricity and the cabins provide all necessary comfort. Your balcony is only a few meters away from the broad Upper Suriname River, offering you the perfect spot to utterly enjoy your cup of coffee or a tea at dawn, while you watch the sun coming up and experience the awakening of the Rain Forest…
On the jungle side there are five double cabins facing the main lounge. Each contains 2 (two) single beds with mosquito nets. These cabins are also fitted out with all modern conveniences. Your balcony is along a trail that will lead you over the island and in the evening you’ll hear the sound of beautiful whistle concerts coming out of the jungle.
The ‘Special Occasions’ cabin, a small distance away from the other cabins, is also located at the river side. It has a queen-size bed with mosquito net and is some what extra luxurious than the other cabins. This cabin is also fitted out with all necessary comfort. Is there something you wish to celebrate? Our ‘Multi cabin’ is a spacious cabin for 2 (two) to 6 (six) persons. This cabin contains a basic number of 4 (four) single beds with mosquito nets. If there are more guests, more beds will be placed in the cabin. The ‘Multi cabin’ is an ideal accommodation when you would like to have the whole family or a group of friends together.
